Make it easy: It sees the lawn with a camera, so there is no wire to bury and no antenna to mount. Set the schedule and it cuts a little every day, which keeps the grass at one height instead of the shaggy-then-scalped cycle of weekly mowing.
What we like
- Worx has a long US service and parts record, which almost nobody else in this category has
- 0.75 acres of coverage, wire-free
- No subscription and no antenna
- Sits in a full product line, so blades and parts will be stocked for years
What could be better
- 30% slope is the weakest rating of any mower we list, and Bob Vila measured traction problems in thick grass
- Vision-only on this trim. RTK is reserved for higher models
- $2,000 for 30% slope handling is poor value if your yard is anything but flat
Best for
- • Flat yards up to three quarters of an acre
- • Buyers who want a company that will still answer the phone in five years
- • Anyone replacing an older wire-guided Landroid
Our verdict
The Vision is the sensible-brand pick rather than the best-spec pick. Worx has been selling mowers in the US for years, which means parts, service and a dealer network that the newer LiDAR brands simply do not have, and that matters for a machine that lives outdoors for a decade. What you give up is slope: 30% is the lowest here, and independent testing found traction problems in thick grass. Flat lawn, buy it with confidence. Anything rolling, buy a Sunseeker or a Mammotion instead.

Make it easy: Set a schedule once and it mows on its own all season. There is no wire to bury and no monthly fee. You empty nothing and charge nothing; it returns to its base when the battery runs low and picks up where it stopped.

Make it easy: It maps your yard with a spinning laser instead of satellites, so there is nothing to mount and nothing to align. Set the schedule and it mows on its own, including under the trees where other robot mowers give up.
