Make it easy: Set a schedule once and it mows on its own all season. There is no wire to bury and no monthly fee. You empty nothing and charge nothing; it returns to its base when the battery runs low and picks up where it stopped.

What we like

  • Under $900, which is roughly half what most wire-free mowers cost
  • Real RTK positioning rather than vision alone, so it holds a straight line and does not wander off the lawn
  • No boundary wire to bury, and no subscription of any kind
  • 45% slope rating is better than several mowers costing twice as much

What could be better

  • 0.3 acres is a small yard. Anything bigger and it will run out of battery before it runs out of grass
  • The brand has almost no service history in the US, so parts and support are an unknown
  • RTK needs a clear sky view for the antenna, which rules out heavily wooded lots

Best for

Our verdict

The M9 is the honest budget entry in a category where the entry price used to be $1,500. It is the cheapest way to get real RTK positioning, which matters more than any other spec on a wire-free mower: without it you get vision-only navigation that wanders. Reviewed named it their budget pick. The caution is not the machine, it is the company. Anthbot has almost no US service record, so treat it as a low-cost bet rather than a fifteen-year appliance. If your lawn is under a third of an acre and reasonably open, nothing else at this price does the job.

$1,799.99

Make it easy: It maps your yard with a spinning laser instead of satellites, so there is nothing to mount and nothing to align. Set the schedule and it mows on its own, including under the trees where other robot mowers give up.

$1,849

Make it easy: It mows the lawn and trims the edges in the same pass, which is the part you would otherwise still be doing yourself. Set the height once, set the schedule, and the only job left is emptying nothing and charging nothing.
