What we like

What could be better
- 0.4 acres for $2,299 is less coverage per dollar than the Mammotion or the Ecovacs
- 50% slope is mid-pack, well short of the Sunseeker or Mammotion
- Navimow's US pricing pages are hard to pin down, so shop the authorized retailers rather than the brand site

Our verdict
The X3 series is the mainstream choice, and mainstream is a real virtue in a category full of crowdfunded brands that miss ship dates. Running RTK, visual SLAM and inertial odometry together means a shaded corner or a brief satellite dropout does not end the run, which is the failure mode owners of single-method mowers complain about most. You pay for that in coverage per dollar, and the 50% slope rating is unremarkable. For a normal suburban yard where you want it to simply work, this is the safe buy.
