Make it easy: There is no antenna to install and no wire to bury. You set the boundary by driving it around once from your phone, then it handles the season. Expect to tidy the edges yourself every few weeks.

What we like

  • Easiest setup in the category. No wire, no antenna to mount, no satellite alignment
  • Works under trees and beside buildings, where RTK mowers lose signal
  • Currently $600 off its launch price
  • No subscription required for normal operation

What could be better

  • Vision-only navigation means it gets stuck at lawn edges and leaves patches, which reviewers consistently report
  • 0.2 acres is the smallest coverage of any mower we list
  • 33% slope rating rules out most genuinely hilly yards
  • Optional 4G data plan if your Wi-Fi does not reach the yard, and eufy does not publish that cost

Our verdict

The E15 makes a real trade and it is worth understanding before you buy. Dropping RTK removes the antenna, the sky-view requirement, and most of the setup pain, which is why this is the mower to buy if your yard is shaded or oddly shaped. It also removes the thing that keeps a mower cutting in tidy overlapping lines. Reviewers repeatedly find it sticking at edges and leaving patches. On a small flat lawn where you care more about never touching it than about stripe-perfect results, that trade is fine. On anything bigger, buy RTK.

Make it easy: Set a schedule once and it mows on its own all season. There is no wire to bury and no monthly fee. You empty nothing and charge nothing; it returns to its base when the battery runs low and picks up where it stopped.

Dreame A3 AWD 1000

$1,799.99

Make it easy: It maps your yard with a spinning laser instead of satellites, so there is nothing to mount and nothing to align. Set the schedule and it mows on its own, including under the trees where other robot mowers give up.

$1,849

Make it easy: It mows the lawn and trims the edges in the same pass, which is the part you would otherwise still be doing yourself. Set the height once, set the schedule, and the only job left is emptying nothing and charging nothing.
